Michael Bonanno
Founder and Vice President, MLBPA Certified AgentMichael Bonanno is the Founder and Vice President of Oak Sports Management. Along with being an MLBPA certified player agent, Michael is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Oak Sports baseball division and the athletes involved within it. Michael also plays a large role and is responsible for contractual negotiations for Oak Sports clients and handling endorsement deals. He also has become a leader in preparation for salary arbitration cases.
Michael majored in law while attending and graduating Brevard College in Melbourne, Florida. After playing for legendary baseball coach Ernie Rosseau at Brevard, Michael signed professionally overseas within the Fortitudo Bologna (Italy) organization before becoming one of the youngest MLBPA certified sports agents in MLB history.
Former Major League Baseball scout Jim Devine had this to say about Michael: “Michael is a brilliant baseball mind that will be in this game for a long time. He has all the qualities to succeed and is one of the top agents in any sport. He is good for the game of baseball, his knowledge of the game and strong character is one of the reasons he is one of the youngest sports representatives in MLB history.”
Don Webster
Co-Founder and Chief of Contractual NegotiationsDon Webster is a co-founder of Oak Sports Management and its Chief of Contractual Negotiations. In that role, Don is responsible for overseeing all client contractual negotiations and arbitrary cases.
Don is a lawyer by training and has over 20 years of experience negotiating contracts with some of the world's largest and most sophisticated organizations. Prior to the founding of Oak Sports, Don was the lead Canadian legal counsel for one of the world&rsquos largest consulting firms.
Don is a graduate of the prestigious LLB/MBA Joint Program at York University in Toronto, receiving his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, with a focus on corporate/commercial law, and his MBA from the Schulich School of Business, one of the world’s top business schools, with a major in finance. He graduated in the top 10% of each program. Don also earned a M.Sc. in Pharmacology and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.
Don has a long history of volunteer activities, including mentoring law students, serving on the executive of professional and industry organizations, as well as coaching hockey at a variety of levels.
Jeff Cordova
Assistant Vice President, MLBA Certified AgentJeff Cordova is an Assistant Vice President and Professional Baseball Operations for Oak Sports Management. In that capacity Jeff is responsible for the day-to-day athlete management of the Oak Sports clients. He also plays a vital role in contract negotiations, salary arbitration and draft preparation.
Jeff joined Oak Sports Management in early 2010 after a successful stint as owner of Palmetto Sports Council in South Carolina where he became an MLBPA certified agent. He brings an extensive baseball background to the OSM having played in high school and college in California. When his playing career ended Jeff moved to the coaching ranks, serving as assistant head coach at Villa Park High School in California.
He has coached in camps across California, working with such baseball powers as Cal State Fullerton, USC, Long Beach State and UC Irvine.

Peter Lambert
Financial ManagementPeter’s primary responsibility is the wealth management and financial security of the athletes represented by Oak Sports.
In 1980 Peter began an investment career with Pittsfield Mackay Ross. In 1986 Peter concentrated on private wealth management where he has remained for the last 23 years serving the interests of individual clients under the Walwyn Stodgell Cochran Murray, Midland Walwyn, Merrill Lynch and CIBC Wood Gundy banners.
In 1992 Peter was a founding partner of that Midland Walwyn’s PPK Team. Peter’s industry accomplishments include nomination to the prestigious Investment Dealer’s Association of Canada (IDA) award of distinction as well as member to the firm’s president’s council. In October 2006, The PPK Team joined the newly created Oakville, Ontario branch of Scotia McLeod, a brokerage subsidiary of The Bank of Nova Scotia.
After graduating from Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Master of Science degree in the field of Motor Learning with specific emphasis on reaction time studies. While at Penn State, Peter was a member of the Penn State Hockey Team and was inducted into the Penn State Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995.
Peter has been an active volunteer for a number of years. He was co-founding director of Oakville Little League Baseball and served as league president for three years and has umpired at the national level. Peter also has received two awards from Cogeco Canada as producer and host of his popular financial programs, The Money Show and Golden Entrepreneur. On several occasions he has appeared on Canwest’s CHCH “Morning Live” offering financial perspective.
Brian Warren
Special Advisor for Motivation and Athletic PerformanceBrian Warren is a special advisor in the area athletic motivation and performance success.
Brian Warren was born in Phoenix, Arizona, USA where he graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in communications, and minors in marketing and physical education. He was a standout member of The University of Arizona Wildcats football team and post graduation, Brian pursued his life long dream of playing professional football and entered a career in the USFL. He played for the Arizona Outlaws for two years, and then came to Canada where he went on to play eight years in the Canadian Football League. Brian played with the Edmonton Eskimos, BC Lions, Ottawa Rough-Riders, and finally retired with the Toronto Argonauts.
Brian also obtained all-star honors and two Grey Cup championships (1987 with the Eskimos and 1991 with the Argonauts). Brian continued as the official voice of the Argo’s for a number of years after retiring. Having been dubbed “The most passionate player to ever play the game”, following his retirement Brian felt compelled to channel that passion into helping those who were not offered the same support and opportunities, which he was so fortunate to have.
In 2000 Brian founded KidsFest, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to equipping Canadian children who live at or below the poverty line, enabling them to become valuable contributors within their respective communities and Canada. Through its innovative “Pathway of Hope”, which features comprehensive programs focused on academic achievement, physical fitness and social interaction, KidsFest is providing children with the vital tools necessary to break the cycle of generational poverty and achieve life-long success. Currently KidsFest supports more than 25 “Running and Reading” centers across Canada and distributes more than 6000 backpacks of school supplies annually.
In addition to KidsFest, Brian Warren is the founding and senior pastor of The Hope Centre Church, located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Tasha Bonanno
Administrative CoordinatorTasha Bonanno comes to Oak Sports Management as the Administrative Coordinator and Media Director after previously working for Nike. Tasha is imperative in running the day-to-day maintenance of our office.
Tasha oversees the media department and is responsible for all planning needs to Oak Sports clients. She assists in branding our clients to organizations, local communities and other media outlets.
Her other roles include: ordering equipment, handling endorsements, faxing and filing paperwork, coordinating travel plans and a different variety of day to day tasks.
